With what happened in Memphis, should we relook at all the affirmative action quota hires?

With what happened in Memphis, should we relook at all the affirmative action hires? What happened in Memphis should never happen again. What a tragedy. Now should affirmative action  quotas be abolished?

When you lower the standards do you not invite something like this to happen? This needs to be asked. Most black officers I've had contact with and been in on joint calls with were excellent officers.

But I've heard some horror stories over the years to where I'm glad I wasn't there. It happens that you have folks are hired cause the standards were lowered because of a set quota. I'm just asking what needs to be asked.
