Why your taxes shouldn't pay for electric charging stations. I'm sure you've seen the numbers and read the articles. Government paying to build thousands of electric charging stations. Auto manufactures building all electric cars. So why do our taxes pay for them?

When cars were manufactured, did Ford or Chevy ask the government to build gas stations? Did the oil companies ask the government to pay for those gas stations? I think you know the answer. So why does the government have to pay for this? What benefit is it?
