Five years ago President Trump said don't sell your house. Here's why. GM announced that they were closing down a plant in Lordstown, Ohio. Trump had a meeting with GM and afterwards said bigly things are coming.

Well five years ago after the shutdown, GM announced a joint venture to build a battery plant. Said it would replace the thousand jobs lost. More about that below.

GM sold the Lordstown plant because if they used it for the battery plant, the workforce would have to be union. So they built a new plant. and those thousand jobs became 2,200.

And the old plant? Has 600 employees there. So now a thousand jobs became 2,800. Thanks President Trump.
