In this case, Elon Musk, who acquired Twitter last year and recently rebranded it as X, had filed a lawsuit to prevent the law from taking effect, arguing that it infringed upon the First Amendment’s speech protections. Other venues went along because they mostly go after Conservative comments and California has no issues with that. Below is what the court said.
