But but a California loon told us that the vaccine makes COVID disappear. You've heard this before. A California loon running across the state screaming how the jab is the miracle cure. So why's this happening in California?

Five California counties have both a higher percentage of their eligible residents fully vaccinated and a higher average daily case rate than the statewide average: Los Angeles, San Diego, Alameda, Contra Costa and San Francisco. 

The five counties with falling case rates — Modoc, Glenn, Lassen, Del Norte, San Benito — have below-average vaccination rates.   

Bay Area counties have the highest vaccination rates, but also some of the highest new case rates.

So when you see this loon running up and down the coast spewing this misinformation,  just remember that you heard about the loon here first.
