The gas powered cars are money makers, but GM and Ford are phasing out their gas powered cars. Electric bills are going up, and that makes operating electric cars more expensive.

Even with auto plants paying 16-20 dollars an hour the manufactures are losing money. Now the union wants those plants and any new ones to pay the 30 dollars an hour that the gas powered plants are getting. What do they know that their not telling us?

And with the average price of a gas powered car being $48,000, who can afford the EV that's 20-30 thousand more?
